Kassa Kool is based in Northwest Austin, about 10 minutes from most Cedar Park neighborhoods. That means shorter waits for a technician, and a crew that already knows how homes around here are built.
Much of Cedar Park went up between the 1980s and the 2000s, in neighborhoods like Buttercup Creek, Cypress Creek and the Cedar Park side of Brushy Creek. Many of those homes are on their second or third air conditioner, and some still have the original attic ductwork, sagging and leaking after decades of Texas summers. Newer areas like Twin Creeks and Ranch at Cypress Creek have larger two-story homes where the upstairs rooms are often the hardest to keep cool.
Same-day repair on most weekdays for warm air, frozen lines, leaks and dead condensers.
New systems sized with a Manual J load calculation for your home, not copied from the old unit's label.
Better filtration for cedar season, plus humidity control for muggy summers.
Sealing and replacing aging attic ducts, and balancing airflow to hot upstairs rooms.
Efficient heating and cooling, and ductless units for bonus rooms and garages.
Gas furnaces and electric heat, ready before the first hard freeze.
Cedar Park didn't get its name by accident. Every winter, mountain cedar (Ashe juniper) releases heavy pollen across the Hill Country, and Cedar Park sits right at its edge. Peak season usually runs from December into February. Your heating and cooling system moves all the air in your house several times an hour, so it can either trap that pollen or spread it around.

If your upstairs bedrooms run 5 to 8 degrees warmer than downstairs in July, you're not alone. In many Cedar Park two-story homes, one system serves both floors, the upstairs return is too small, and the longest duct runs lose cooling in a hot attic before the air reaches the rooms.
The fix is rarely a bigger AC. We start by measuring airflow at each room, then recommend the simplest option that works: balancing dampers, an added return, sealing or resizing the long runs, a zoning system, or a ductless mini-split for a bonus room.
Most Cedar Park homes get electricity from Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), so Austin Energy rebates usually don't apply here. PEC has offered its own rebates on high-efficiency heat pumps and air conditioners. When we quote a new system, we'll check what's currently available for your address and help with the paperwork. Financing is available too.

How quickly can you get to Cedar Park?
Our shop is in Northwest Austin, close to Cedar Park, so same-day visits are often available on weekdays, especially if you call in the morning. After-hours appointments are available too.
Do you charge extra to come to Cedar Park?
No. Cedar Park is part of our regular service area, so you pay the same trip and diagnostic fee as in Austin, and it can be waived for certain repairs.
Do Austin Energy rebates apply in Cedar Park?
Usually not. Most Cedar Park homes are served by Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), which has its own efficiency programs. Check the name on your electric bill, and we'll look up current rebates for your address when we quote a new system.
What air filter should I use during cedar season?
A MERV 11 to 13 pleated filter works well for most homes, but some older systems can't move enough air through one. We can measure your system's airflow and tell you the best filter it can handle.
