Lakeway homes tend to be bigger than average, and many have two or three separate systems: one for the main floor, one upstairs, sometimes one for a guest suite or garage apartment. Long refrigerant lines, rocky lots, high ceilings and big west-facing windows with lake views all put extra load on the equipment.
Kassa Kool is based just off RM 620 in Northwest Austin, about 25 minutes up the road from Lakeway. We can service all of a home's systems in one visit.
Diagnosis and repair for every system in the house, all brands.
Variable-speed and inverter systems for quieter, more even comfort.
Ductless units for casitas, guest suites, gyms and garages.
One visit covers all your systems, twice a year.
Whole-home dehumidifiers and airflow fixes for muggy rooms.
Gas furnaces, heat pumps and electric heat, ready for winter.
In a large home that runs two or three systems from April to October, efficiency adds up. A variable-speed system also runs longer at low speed, which pulls more humidity out of the air and keeps rooms more even. When it's time to replace, we'll show you the options side by side:
We size each system with a Manual J load calculation, so you don't pay for capacity you don't need. 0% same-as-cash financing for 25 months is available with approved credit.
Many Lakeway homes place the outdoor units far from the indoor equipment, sometimes down a slope. Long refrigerant lines need the right pipe sizes and refrigerant charge, or the system loses capacity and wears out early. On repairs and installs, we check line length and charge against the manufacturer's specs, not just the pressure gauge.
We also look at condenser placement: units boxed in by walls or landscaping can't breathe, and that shortens their life.
Lakeway has two electric providers. Homes north and west of Hurst Creek are generally served by Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC), and homes south and east of Hurst Creek by Austin Energy, which offers rebates of $600 to $950 on qualifying systems. Check your bill, and we'll confirm what applies when we quote.

Can you service all of my home's systems in one visit?
Yes. Tell us how many systems you have when you book, and we'll set aside enough time to check or tune up all of them.
Why is one floor of my Lakeway home always warmer?
It can be a sizing issue, low refrigerant from a long line set, leaky ducts, or big west-facing windows. We measure each system's output and airflow to find the cause before recommending a fix.
Do Austin Energy rebates apply in Lakeway?
For some homes. Lakeway homes south and east of Hurst Creek are generally on Austin Energy, which offers rebates on qualifying systems. Homes on PEC have different programs. We'll check your address.
How far in advance should I schedule a replacement?
Spring and fall are best. Scheduling a week or two ahead gives you the most choice, and you avoid replacing a system in a July emergency.
