Replacing a failed compressor in a Lennox unit. Unit has had the indoor evaporator coil changed by others and most likely oil level was never checked or adjusted, hence lead to compressor failure.

Old Rheem system was replaced with a Crossover Carrier ductless system. These utilizes the same air duct systems, but outdoor unit is a heat pump in a mini-split form

We’ve replaced a Carrier evaporator coil on a not too old unit. This unit will likely have many more years left of life. Replacing it completely, would have not been the right approach

We were called to this Circle C customer for replacing a failed coil on a 11 years old system. While other companies would have upsell a new system, we analyzed the state of the rest of the system, and provided customer with option to repair or buy a new system.

His choice was to repair the old system, so we did just that saving him a good amount of money.

We got to this house to find a dead compressor in a 8 years old unit.
The most likely case is the lack of HVAC maintenance. This adds extra strain to compressors which are already over-worked in Texas Heat.

Cost to replace is significant. Cost to maintain: Inexpensive.

Durrng a HVAC Maintenance visit, we found this disconnected flue from a water heater installed by others. This appliance was spewing carbon monoxide inside the attic.
We did remediate the problem for the customer, keeping him safe.

This customer has called us for a thermostat issue. When we arrived, besides fixing the issue we were called for, we identified a separate problem with airflow leading to improper dehumidification and huge bacterial growth (we are not allowed to call it mold)

Advised the homeowner on the issue, who was unaware of the risks around it.
